The primary coil has the same resistance as the original, 160 Ω.
Some other manufacturers have 320 Ω which can overheat.
Buy a voltage regulator such as 14497 or 13194.
Attach the stator with the black coil in the 10 o'clock position.
(We have heard that some people put it in the 2 o'clock position and get it to work...)
Sometimes new holes are needed in the plate.
Connection:
1. Cut off the white connector.
2. connect black/white cable to ground.
3. connect black/red cable to the flat pin on the ignition coil.
4. connect yellow/white cable from the stator to the voltage regulator (yellow cable on 14497 or 13194)
5. red/white cable is insulated.
