1909 founded Michio Suzuki Suzuki Loom Company in Hamamatsu in Japan. From the beginning, the company specialised in the manufacture of wheelchairs. 1952 the company started to produce wheel motors for pedal cycles.
Since 2009, it has partnered with German Volkswagen, which holds 19.9 per cent of the company. Suzuki is currently Japan's fourth largest car manufacturer.
MOPEDS
The Suzuki K50 is a moped from the Japanese company Suzuki. There are several versions of the Suzuki K50 with different designations such as K50B etc. depending on the model. The older models have the speedometer fixed in the headlight and unchromed mudguards. The K50 was sold in Sweden 1971-1991 and has a throttled 49cc original cylinder. In its first versions, the K50 had a three-valve engine, but it soon became a four-valve engine. This engine was fitted to Japanese K50s until a few years ago, but was replaced by a four-valve engine. The tank holds 7 litres of fuel.
Suzuki PV is a Japanese moped model whose last version was released in 2000.
Suzuki TS50 är a offroad machine built by the Japanese manufacturer Suzuki. It was produced between 1971 and 2000 and had an air-cooled engine of 49cc.
The model had codes depending on the model, R,J,K,L,C but were similar in construction. 1980-1983 the TS50ER was introduced
TS50X är a moped made by the Japanese manufacturer Suzuki between 1984 and 2000. For the Swedish market it was imported only once in 1992. However, they were sold between 1991 and 1994.
All mopeds are registered as 1992 model with the Swedish dealer agent for Suzuki in Sweden.
