Replaces Stefa, Noris, Bosch, Siba, Romag & Auto Union ignition systems for several engines with the shorter bolt distance for the stator plate and the narrower cone for the flywheel. Suitable for ILO G50, HVA D-motor, NSU, Pilot FM50/FM504, Victoria M50/M51, DKW 801 etc.
Intended for machines with brake lights.
* For some engines, setting by means of a strobe light may be required!
Technical data:
Flywheel, outer diameter: 115mm
Stator plate, outer diameter: Ø= approx. 85.5mm
Stator plate, bolt distance c-c: approx. 67mm
Ignition coil/light coil, bolt distance: c-c: approx.54mm
Ignition cable: L=~400mm
Front light/brake light coil: 6V-15/5W
Rear light coil: 6V-3W
Direction of rotation: Counterclockwise/Clockwise (*see above)
For crankshaft with conicity: K1:10(10%) and input diameter Ø=10mm
Flywheel puller: Thread M24x1,5 article no 23231
Wiring diagram included for correct connection.
Extra ignition coil available on art.no 28289
Recommended bulbs/signal horn:
Front light: 6V-15/15W
Brake light: 6V-5W
Rear light: 6V-3~4W
Signal horn: 6V/AC (alternating current) article no 10148
NOTE!
The insulator plate must be mounted under the ignition cable on the ignition coil (as shown in the pictures) to avoid flashover.
Also grease the felt that lubricates the flywheel cam to reduce wear on the switch jaw!
The contact distance is set to approx. 0.35~0,45mm at fully open switch tips. Performed using a blade gauge
NOTE: On some ILO G50 engines, you may have to grind off the lugs on the inside of the flywheel housing slightly for the flywheel to roll freely!
