The spacer fits perfectly under the stock or tuned reed valve block, and its thickness alters the volume of the intake passage and thus the crankcase, which improves airflow and boosts performance, especially in the high-rpm range. The colored anodized finish adds an extra visual accent to the component. Reed blocks with larger reeds can also be installed.
