Variator ring/throttle - Piaggio, China 4T, Kymco, SYM

This spacer ring prevents the variator from shifting out and thus limits the top speed. The ring is mounted on the variator sleeve and is often fitted as a throttle from the factory. Fits all scooters with 20mm variator sleeve such as 50cc Piaggio, China 4T (BT49QT-9), Kymco or SYM. The throttle ring is available in different thicknesses, depending on how much the engine should be throttled. The thickness required to achieve the desired speed reduction can only be found out by testing. Dimensions (Inner diameter x Outer diameter): 20x25mm
