Dimensions 45x40x20 mm Robust and reliable 3-pole voltage limiter for 6 V systems, rated up to 12 A (~72W). Suitable for mopeds and motorcycles with single AC or combined AC/DC electrical systems. The voltage limiter effectively protects the lighting by preventing excessive voltage and attenuating harmful voltage peaks. Overvoltage is dissipated to earth, giving longer bulb life. It is usually used for front and rear lights and, depending on the electrical system, also for some instrument lighting, horns, etc. on the AC side. Important: The unit must have very good contact with earth via the housing (mounting screw) and the cable from pole-3. The unit should be placed on the vehicle so that good cooling is achieved!
