Special tool for installing the crankshaft in the engine cover. The right tool means that you don't have to hit the crankshaft, but instead pull it into the bearing. A must if you want to be sure that the engine is installed correctly. The threaded rod is screwed onto the thread of the crank on the ignition side, thereby pulling the crankshaft into the bearing.
