The brand new TPR 100cc Flanged Mount Kit for Minarelli AM6 is designed for maximum performance. Utilizing cutting-edge 2-stroke racing technology, including a newly engineered high-tech layout, this cylinder delivers an exceptional increase in performance. The modular cylinder head, featuring a bright red water jacket, ensures optimal heat dissipation, as expected from high-end race cylinders. Additionally, the special 4-point exhaust flange provides a secure and stable exhaust mounting solution. Attention: Not approved for road use - race track only! Advantages of flanged mount design More and more manufacturers are now developing so-called flanged mount cylinders. Compared to standard cylinders with stud bolt mounting, these offer several advantages: FL cylinders are generally more stable and precisely mounted. The absence of stud bolts provides better protection against torsional forces, while the direct attachment of the cylinder head ensures a more accurate fit. For manufacturers, eliminating stud bolts creates additional space, allowing for greater optimization of the transfer port design, which is particularly beneficial for enhancing the exhaust port layout. TPR 100cc cylinder - setup & installation To use this high-end cylinder, you must either modify the original case or use the TPR Factory 100cc crankcase (flanged mount) specially developed for this cylinder. In addition, a TPR Factory crankshaft with 47 mm stroke and 98 mm connecting rod must be used. To get maximum power from the kit, you should of course use a matching tuning exhaust and adjust the carburetor settings. Also for AM6: TPR Factory 100cc cylinder with standard stud bolt mounting.
