It is made of Nikasil-plated aluminium, has 5 transfer ports and an oval-shaped exhaust port. Stage6 decided to use a 2-ring piston to increase life expectancy so the cylinder is ideal for everyday riding. Definitely a perfect compromise between reliability for everyday riding and outstanding performance. Needless to say, you can optimize performance by adjusting your carburetor (jetting) and variator (weight and spring adjustment).
